Family law barrister delivers court training to paediatricians

Our David Gareth Evans this week delivered a very well-received court skills and report writing training day for community and general paediatricians from all over South Wales. 

At the All Nations Conference Centre in Cardiff, Gareth joined a team of leading child protection consultant paediatricians in delivering a number of talks on giving evidence, preparing written reports and providing an overview of the types of hearing paediatricians are likely to attend to give evidence.  The day concluded with some 'mock trial' examples of cross-examination, where delegates had the opportunity to try their hand at giving evidence and to face robust questioning. 

Feedback from delegates was overwhelmingly positive, and we at 9 Park Place Chambers look forward to providing expert speakers for similar events in the near future.
