Family

Led by Owen Thomas, our family team includes members with extensive experience in all areas of matrimonial, cohabitee and civil partnership disputes, including forensic examination of family and related business interests in ancillary relief matters, in which we are regularly instructed in high-value cases. We also handle every aspect of public law children work representing parents, local authorities and guardians, as well as dealing with all private law children disputes. Members of the team accept instructions direct from lay clients in suitable cases under the Bar Council's Public Access Scheme.

The team has recently been further strengthened by the arrival as an associate tenant of John Vater QC, a highly-respected and experienced silk who is regularly involved in complex, controversial and sensitive cases.
