Adrian Jackson joins 9 Park Place

Chambers is delighted to announce that Adrian Jackson joins its civil team from 1st August. 

Adrian, who was called in 1990, is re-locating to his home city of Cardiff following many years of successful practice from St John’s Buildings, based out of Sheffield. His work encompasses Commercial & Business Disputes, Chancery and Personal Injury claims.

His Commercial & Business Disputes work includes large scale partnership disputes, notably defending a complex multi-million pound partnership claim related to car dealerships, property development and companies, leading to success in the Court of Appeal - Yafai v Muthana [2012] EWCA Civ 289.  His caseload also includes disputes relating to directors’ fiduciary duties,  sale of goods and unregulated hire purchase as well as commercial property work including lease renewals, rent and dilapidations claims. His Chancery (Land) practice features adverse possession claims and boundary disputes. 

Adrian’s Personal Injury expertise features high value multi-track claims and industrial disease cases.  He has particular expertise in mining claims having representing the NUM and many of its members on frequent occasions including fatal accidents and inquests.   In recent years Adrian has also been sought out for instructions relating to alleged fraudulent accident claims.
