Important: Contractual Terms from 31st January

For privately funded work (or matters where counsel is not paid direct by the Crown Prosecution Service or Legal Services Commission) from 31st January, new contractual terms and conditions "CTC" replace the "Terms of Work" under which barristers offer their services to solicitors. The Terms of Work and the Withdrawal of Credit Scheme 1988 are therefore abolished and the cab-rank rule applies to the new CTC.

All members of 9 Park Place Chambers are adopting the new CTC in respect of all cases where instructions are received from 31st January, both in new and ongoing matters.
