Owen regularly represents both claimants and respondents with employment issues and possesses extensive experience of cases of alleged discrimination on the grounds of disability, sex and age.

A Welsh speaker, Owen has handled  employment cases through the medium of Welsh. He undertakes conditional fee agreement work and accepts instructions under the Bar Council's Public Access Scheme.

Owen was educated at Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen, Pontypridd before going on to study at the University of Aberystwyth, University of Cambridge and Inns of Court School of Law. He is also a qualified Welsh Rugby Union referee.
