We are proud to announce that four members of 9 Park Place Chambers, Cardiff have been re-appointed to the Welsh Government Approved Panel of Counsel.
Appointments are effective from 1 February 2026 and follow a competitive selection process.
Panel Appointments:
- Cerys Walters(Call 2009) – re-appointed to the A Panel of Junior Counsel;
- Rhys Davies(Call 2011) – elevated from the B Panel to the A Panel;
- Joseph Edwards(Call 2011) – elevated from the B Panel to the A Panel;
- Robert Goodwin(Call 2012) – re-appointed to the B Panel.
The Welsh Government has again appointed three panels for this appointment cycle: a King’s Counsel panel, together with A and B Panels of Junior Counsel. The terms of appointment run for five years, until early 2031.
These appointments underscore the exceptional legal expertise within Chambers and reinforce our commitment to supporting the Welsh Government with top-tier advocacy and advisory services. We congratulate Cerys, Rhys, Joseph and Robert on this achievement.
