Henry is originally from Devon and was educated at Colyton Grammar School. In October 2020 he accepted the offer of a tenancy in chambers following the successful completion of his pupillage.
He accepts instructions in all of our practice areas. His civil work includes small claim RTA hearings, Stage 3 MOJ hearings, Infant Approvals, Injunctions for breach of Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and Education Admission Appeals. Henry's family work has included Children Act cases (Dispute Resolution Appointments and Non-Molestation / Occupation Order Injunctions - to Final Hearing) and his criminal work has included magistrates court trials for the defence and prosecuting in the crown court.
Henry graduated with First Class Honours in Law (LLB) at Cardiff University. He was awarded the Lord Justice Holker Scholarship from Gray’s Inn, allowing him to study the LLM Bar Professional Training Course (‘BPTC’) at Cardiff Law School, achieving a Distinction. He has been awarded the Ann Goddard scholarship from Gray's Inn.
During his time in Cardiff, Henry has led a team of case workers for Cardiff University’s Innocence Project, a pro bono project that investigates and appeals alleged miscarriages of justice. He was selected to represent the Project at the LawWorks and Attorney General Pro Bono Awards at the House of Commons.
Henry’s first six pupil supervisor was Ieuan Bennett and his second six pupil supervisor was Cadi Dewi.
