Family law and The "Jackson" reforms - CPD training from 9PP and Phoenix Legal
CPD accredited training event - Wednesday 16th October, 5pm – 7pm, Park Plaza, Cardiff.
On 1st April the Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2013 were enacted amending the Civil Procedure Rules 1998. Colloquially known as the “Jackson Reforms”, the changes follow recommendations laid down by Lord Justice Jackson in his 2010 review of civil funding.
These changes are impacting on all areas of family law that are subject to the CPR 1998 including claims under the Trusts of Land & Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants Act) 1975, enforcement, costs, and proceedings under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
Julian Reed, from 9 Park Place Chambers and Stephen Averill from Phoenix Legal Services Costs Lawyers, are pleased to present this joint seminar aimed at family lawyers who also undertake work in these complementary areas. So if you want to know your Form H from your Form E please come along to the Park Plaza, Cardiff, from 5pm – 7pm on Wednesday 16th October.
To reserve your place please email Jo Williams (jowilliams@9parkplace.co.uk) and to confirm it please send a cheque for £30 (£25 plus vat) made payable to 9 Park Place Chambers to us at 9 Park Place, Cardiff, CF10 3DP or by DX:50751 Cardiff 2.
