The Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team possesses acknowledged skills and experience in all areas of personal injury litigation and is consistently ranked in Band 1 by The Legal 500 and Chambers UK.

Representation is provided at all levels of experience and seniority in the civil courts, in coroners’ courts and before the Criminal Injury Compensation Authority and other tribunals.

Members of the team also receive instructions in health and safety matters in the criminal courts.

The team has experience of handling cases for individual claimants, major trade unions, insurers and large employers.

The scope of the work undertaken by the team includes: catastrophic head and spinal claims; industrial disease; fatal accident litigation and inquests; psychiatric illness arising from trauma and stress of work; employers' liability; occupiers' liability; and product liability.

Chambers has facilities for holding joint settlement meetings and telephone conferences. Settlement meetings are regularly hosted for insurers and claimants. Additionally, members of the team host personal injury seminars for personal injury solicitors with accreditation for continuing professional education purposes.
