9 Park Place has practitioners at every level of seniority who work regularly in the field of public law.

We appear in cases involving administrative law, environmental law and planning law in England and Wales and in other jurisdictions.

We represent claimants and defendants, central government departments, devolved government, local authorities of all levels and regulatory authorities. We have extensive experience of advising on devolved matters and have been at the forefront of developments in that field in Wales.

Members chair and deliver lectures to the legal profession and public officials on a wide variety of public law subjects including local authority prosecutions, freedom of information, the Enterprise Act and the Government of Wales Acts and regularly participate in current affairs programmes involving public law matters on radio and TV.

Members have been influential in the decision to localise the Administrative Court in Wales and have the necessary experience to present cases before it.
