Robert specialises in personal injury and can act for both Claimants and Defendants.  He has a wealth of experience in dealing with claims of all types including road traffic accidents and associated credit hire claims, employers’ liability, highway tripping and slipping, defective premises and claims involving injuries caused by animals.  Robert also has experience of dealing with stress at work claims and NIHL claims.

Robert seeks to offer his clients a full range of services, including:

• Providing early and ongoing advice on the merits of bringing or defending proceedings
• Drafting court documents including statements of case and schedules of loss 

• Representation at all types of Court hearings including trials, assessments of damages, all interim applications, costs and case management conferences and appeals 

• Advising on quantum including for the purposes of Part 21 approval hearings
• Representation at Joint Settlement Meetings

Robert’s personal injury caseload has included:

• Advised and represented a Local Authority refuse collector who suffered serious head injuries after falling from a moving refuse lorry – six figure settlement sum secured at JSM
• Successfully represented a claimant in her claim against a local vehicle dealership after she tripped over a display plinth in a city centre shopping mall
• Advised elderly female claimant in relation to the settlement of her product liability claim after a children’s toy exploded causing her facial and eye injuries

• Representing three claimants in relation to a Fixed Recoverable Costs regime RTA in which they were all injured – successfully obtained orders for costs in favour of each claimant
