Richard specialises in family law and is an experienced mediator dealing in a wide range of mediation cases.

Called by Gray’s Inn in 1974, Richard is a member of the Family Law Bar Association, the Family Mediators Association, the Family Mediation Council and the ADR Group. Until recently, he was also an elected Board member and Director of the Family Mediators Association.

Richard specialises in family mediation and ADR with particular reference to property and financial cases. Recent cases have included disputes over high value family businesses, personal pensions and child issues involving residence and contact matters.

Richard also works with the Mediation Practice Limited. Based at 9 Park Place Chambers, the company provides legal aid in all family mediation cases and offers a sole mediation service for private and publicly funded clients in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
