Peter specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence, acting exclusively for claimants against large multinational insurance companies.

Peter handles serious head injuries and high-value claims, particularly catastrophic head injuries, quadriplegia or paraplegia. His practice covers all the major courts and the CICA.

Some of Peter’s most recent notable cases include Roberts v Bro Taf Health Authority (2002) Lloyds Med Rep 182 acting for the family of a child born with cerebral palsy as a result of negligent sterilisation. He also handled the X v Brown (2003) EWCA Civ 181 case involving a sporting head injury in a karate class, Maloney v Torfaen CBC (2005) EWCA Civ 1762, (2006) PIQR P21 Times Jan 10 2006 involving a traumatic head injury to a non-visitor and Dalling v RJ Heale (2011) EWCA Civ 365 on successive accidents and novus actus interveniens.

As a member of the Personal Injury Bar Association and the Welsh Personal Injury Association, Peter undertakes conditional fee agreements and collective conditional fee agreement work on behalf of claimants.

Peter was educated at Bishop Hedley High School, Merthyr Tydfil, the University of Liverpool and Inns of Court School of Law, Gray’s Inn, London.
