Lewis is originally from Penarth and was educated at Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg. Lewis graduated with a 2:1 in History from Hatfield College, Durham University. He proceeded to complete his Graduate Diploma in Law at Cardiff University, achieving a Commendation. Lewis was called to the Bar in July 2019 after being assessed as Very Competent on the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) and achieved a Distinction in his LLM Legal Practice, both at Cardiff University.

Lewis joined chambers as a pupil in September 2020 and accepted an offer of tenancy in September 2021. Lewis is a fluent Welsh speaker and is happy to accept instructions in Welsh

He accepts instructions in all of Chambers practice areas having developed a broad practice.

Family

Lewis has an extensive Private Family Law practice, in which he is regularly instructed in cases involving acrimonious applications, parental alienation and significant and serious allegations of harm to both children and parents. Lewis is a member of the FLBA.

Civil

Lewis’ Civil work includes appearances in Fast Track and Small Claim cases including Personal Injury and Contractual disputes. Lewis has also advised in respect of Contractual disputes, Injunction applications and TOLATA matters. Lewis is a member of the Government Junior Junior Scheme.

Immigration

Lewis also accepts instructions in the Immigration Tribunal and has regularly appeared successfully on behalf of applicants in Asylum Appeals.

Education

Lewis has acted as a clerk in school admissions appeals providing legal advice to admissions appeal panels

Away from work, Lewis is a Premiership grade WRU referee, and has been appointed to officiate in the Welsh Premiership, the United Rugby Championship and the Six Nations.
