Justin is a civil practitioner whose practice focuses on common law and commercial disputes.

He advises, drafts pleadings and represents parties in proceedings relating to personal injury, disputes concerning rights and interests in and over land, all manner of disputes in contract and tort, personal and corporate insolvency, Companies Act and partnership issues and landlord and tenant disputes.

In respect of subrogated claims by insurers, Justin is experienced in advising and acting in claims involving vehicle hire and repair agreements and disputes concerning proof of the cost of repairs. He conducts his own cases in the county courts and the High Court and the Administrative Court in Cardiff. Justin also acts for claimants and respondents in employment tribunal work in claims alleging constructive and unfair dismissal and concerning TUPE and whistle-blowing.

Recent work has included acting for private individuals and commercial claimants in the High Court for interim and final injunctive relief arising out of unlawful interference with rights of way and easements in and over land and trespass to land. Justin has recently advised and acted for claimants in commercial disputes relating to the recovery of high value goods supplied and the subject of retention of title clauses, including cases complicated by personal or corporate insolvency.

In addition to his civil practice, Justin is regularly instructed in relation to a wide range of regulatory and enforcement proceedings in the magistrates’ court and the Crown Court.

Justin will accept instructions subject to a conditional fee agreement on a case-by-case basis, which will be offered on PIBA or ChBA standard terms.
