Julian practises in all areas of family law but particularly in ancillary relief matters (dealing with businesses, farming disputes, companies and partnerships) as well as cohabitation disputes (particularly involving trusts), Inheritance Act claims and employment disputes.

Possessing a clear understanding of commercial and financial issues, a calm and reassuring manner, a practical approach and long experience, Julian is diligent in his preparation, popular with his clients and dogged in defence of their interests.

He also handles public and private law children work.

In addition Julian has a significant claimant personal injury practice.

He has also handled substantial cases in Care Standards tribunals.

Julian is a member of the Family Law Bar Association, Personal Injuries Bar Association and Employment Law Bar Association. He undertakes some conditional fee agreement work.

Julian was educated at Christ College Brecon and Monmouth School before going on to study at the University of Glamorgan.
