Janet was educated at Glantaf High School before going on to study at Cardiff University and Inns of Court School of Law. She joined 9 Park Place Chambers in 1991 and has since specialised in all aspects of crime.

Janet has a specific interest in offences of fraud, financial crime, violence (including murder), sexual offences and child cruelty. She also handles cases of blackmail, drugs, robbery, public order and arson/endangering life.

A barrister with excellent communication skills, being empathetic or firm as required, Janet is noted for her meticulous preparation and thorough approach to cross-examination. She is well-skilled in all aspects of defence and prosecution.
