With a wealth of active criminal litigation experience, Ieuan specialises in crime.

Ieuan’s work includes serious sexual offences involving child witnesses, complicated cases of dishonesty involving a breach of trust, allegations of conspiracy, Class A drug offences and grave acts of violence. Recently reported cases include R v P (J) [2015] 1 Cr. App. R. 12 CA,  Jones v DPP (2004) RIR 20 Attorney-General’s References numbers 37 to 40 (2004) and R v Jones and other (2007) IWLR7. Ieuan is also instructed for the prosecution in the high profile trial of Carl Whant. He is a Grade 4 CPS prosecutor and is on the panel of approved advocates for prosecuting rape cases.

With excellent communication skills and sound judgement, Ieuan was previously a lecturer in law at the West Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education, University College, Cardiff, University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and University of Glamorgan. He is now a Trustee of the Barry and Vale Athletics Club.

Ieuan was educated at Monmouth School before going to study law at Aberystwyth University and then the University of Hull where he obtained a Masters in Criminology.
