Chambers welcomes new tenants

9 Park Place is pleased to announce that Miss Carys Williams and Mr David Gareth Evans have recently accepted offers of tenancies at chambers.
Carys and Gareth were pupil barristers at 9 Park Place and successfully completed their pupillages at the end of August 2009. Carys’ supervisors were Gareth Thomas (civil) and Steven Donoghue (crime) whilst Gareth’s supervisors were Matthew Roberts (crime) and Gwydion Hughes (civil).
Both Carys and Gareth will be practising in the fields of civil, criminal and family law.
When not practising law Carys’ interests lie in public speaking, music and drama. She recently finished as first runner-up in the Crowther Shield at Lincoln’s Inn and is an accomplished singer.
Gareth came to the bar after a short service commission in the British Army with the Royal Welsh. He saw service overseas including two operational tours of Iraq where he was mentioned in dispatches.
