Probationary tenancy / 3rd six pupillage

In the wake of significant growth in junior work across the Civil, Family and Criminal Team, 9 Park Place is looking to recruit 3rd six pupils / probationary tenants commencing in the late Summer or early Autumn 2022.

We are a long-established, friendly and diverse chambers with a strong history of recruiting tenants from pupils. We have an open door policy in chambers and provide a supportive environment for junior members of the Bar. We value all pupils and make every effort to ensure that they are supported to develop a busy and fulfilling practice. Chambers does not offer a 3rd six pupillage award however there is a surplus of work in chambers.

Please send a CV and covering letter by email to Ms Joanne Williams at JWilliams@9parkplace.co.uk with a minimum of two references from recent pupil supervisors and two examples of written work, suitably anonymised. Please also provide an anonymised print out of your diary during the time that you have been undertaking advocacy in your second six, to show us the types of cases in which you have been instructed and the frequency of your court appearances. You should also specify which of the Civil, Family and Criminal Teams in Chambers you would wish to join.
