Emyr Jones instructed in long-running M4 Public Inquiry

Emyr Jones, instructed by Geldards Solicitors, Cardiff, is Junior Counsel to the Welsh Government in the M4 “Corridor Around Newport” Public Inquiry which has commenced in Newport. The “Corridor” scheme, promoted by Welsh Government at a total cost of more than £1 billion would involve the construction of 24 km of new motorway to the south of Newport across the environmentally sensitive Gwent Levels. The inquiry is listed to last 55 days. Emyr is Head of the Civil Team at 9 Park Place.
