David Elias leads prosecution in cold-calling fraud

David Elias, head of the criminal team at 9 Park Place Chambers, has recently acted as lead prosecutor in a £300,000 cold-calling scam fraud case heard at Swansea Crown Court. Seven people were jailed for a total of more than fifteen years for the fraud, which the court heard had been responsible for conning around three thousand victims.
