Crime:

Helen Roddick handles all areas of criminal practice, acting for both prosecution and defence. She is a Grade 3 prosecuting counsel.

Regulatory:

Helen has extensive experience in the fields of food standards, trading standards and animal welfare both as an adviser and as an advocate for the prosecuting authorities and defendants. She also has experience of prosecutions of companies and company directors under the Companies Acts.

She recently represented the DVLA at the High Court in the case of Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd v DVLA [2009] EWHC 3132 (Admin).

Civil:

Helen is particularly experienced in personal injury litigation, land law, including landlord and tenant, and employment law. She appears regularly for claimants and respondents at the Employment Tribunal

Postgraduate diploma in Law (University of the West of England)
BVC (UWE)

Pupillage :

Helen served her pupillage at 9 Park Place where her pupil supervisors were Gwydion Hughes (general commercial and Chancery) and Ieuan Morris (crime)
