Sian Parry handles all aspects of family law, particularly public law children work. She also has a busy ancillary relief practice, often advising in cases where there are substantial assets.

Re M-J (Adoption Order or Special Guardianship Order) [2007] EWCA Civ 56, [2007] 1 FLR 691. In this case Sian appeared on behalf of the local authority and the third respondent, one of three conjoined cases, in the Court of Appeal when the court expounded the principles of special guardianship as opposed to family adoption.

In S v B & Newport City Council, Re K [2007] 1 FLR 1116 Sian appeared on behalf of the local authority in the Family Division where Hedley J. considered the principles of special guardianship in contrast to family adoption.
