Having prosecuted for many years Hugh Wallace now specialises almost exclusively in defence advocacy. He has extensive experience in all categories of crime ranging from rapes to fraud and from courts martial to murder and is familiar with handling very high cost cases in the Crown Court.

Hugh practised as a solicitor before transferring to the Bar in 1993. He was the first Chief Crown Prosecutor for South Wales and Gwent.
