For a year before taking up her pupillage Carys worked as a freelance County Court Advocate practising in South Wales and the West Midlands. During this time she gained extensive experience of contested hearings before District Judges in matters such as:

  • Mortgage possession and suspension of warrants for possession
  • Charging orders
  • Infant settlements
  • Bankruptcy hearings
  • Orders for sale
  • Applications to strike out
  • Applications for summary judgement
Gwybodaeth Ychwanegol :

Carys is an accomplished public speaker and recently finished as first runner-up in the Crowther Shield Public Speaking Competition at Lincoln’s Inn.

Carys also enjoys music and drama. She has performed as guest soloist in numerous concerts and is a past member of the National Youth Choir of Wales and Manchester Youth Theatre.

Carys is a fluent Welsh speaker.
