Administrative

Members of our public law team regularly appear in cases involving administrative, environmental and planning law in England and Wales.

We represent both claimants and defendants, including central and devolved government departments, local authorities at all levels, as well as regulatory authorities. Members of the team accept instructions direct from lay clients under the Bar Council's Public Access Scheme.

With extensive experience in dealing with devolved matters, we have been at the forefront of legal developments in Wales. Indeed, members have chaired and delivered lectures to the legal profession and public officials alike on a wide variety of public law subjects including local authority prosecutions, Freedom of Information Act issues, and matters concerning the Enterprise Act 2002 and the Government of Wales Acts.
